Fresh fruit

At Saddleback Farmshop we are fortunate enough to be closely situated to one of the largest fruit farms in the area. Q Gardens Farm in Harwell is home to some of the best English cherries – as supplied to Winston Churchill – the soil is high in potash which is reputed to be good for flavour development in the fruit. They are now one of the last remaining orchards in the area and continue to grow a whole variety of fruits.

When in season we will have a selection of strawberries, cherries, raspberries, currants, gooseberries, blackberries, damsons, greengages, apples and pears from Q Gardens.

Please note that the dates below are for use as a guide and can be effected by things like unseasonal weather conditions. If you are visiting to buy a specific item, please call us in advance to make sure we have what you want.
